Interior Water Leak
Due to the massive amounts of rain we have received in the Metro DC area, Maxine the Wonder Benz has sprung a leak...front passenger side by the door. The carpet was wet, not sopping but wet none the least. I pulled out the small piece of carpet to bring it inside and put down towels in its place, we are going to have MORE liquid sunshine until Friday. I did open the hood and clean out the pine needles up around the windshield wiper area. Any other suggestions and THANKS FOR YOU HELP.

Right below the hood hinge there is another drain that gets clogged. It exits under the wheelwell. Use a stiff wire to clear it. Don't ask me how I know.

My wife drove our 1999 C230 Kompressor through standing water in Arlington. We had it towed to a dealer and were told that water took out the MAS, air filter and got into the engine as there was water in the oil. What long term effects is this going to have, if any? They are fixing it and changing the oil, but I have concerns that the fuel system especially is going to get screwed up. How did the water get into the crankcase?
