W201 differential installation

Hey guys

I came across a problem with my beloved 1985 190E 2.3L. It seems that it is eating up Rear Flex Discs. These parts are meant to last for a long long time, but my car seems to need a new one every year. Now I figured this problem out, and I have an idea on how to correct it, but I need some help from you to make sure I'm doing this right.

A few years back I swapped my differential, the one that was on the car was not the original, I believe it had an abs sensor in it which was simply cut off, my car does not have abs at all. So I found a new recently rebuilt differential and installed it. Now the differential mounts with 4 bolts on the back to the rear sub frame, and with one at the front. It is this bolt at the front that I believe is causing me all this grief (I just replaced both front and back flex discs again, 4 hours job on the driveway). When I look at the differential in relation to the driveshaft, it seems that they are not in a perfectly straight line, it seems as if the differential points a bit towards the ground, instead of straight towards the driveshaft. Now the bolt at the front has a metal bushing about 3cm long. I think, if I were to take this bushing out, which was on the old differential, I will have a perfect alignment of the driveshaft and differential. My only concern is that the flex disc will be very close to the sub frame, but since the differential is mounted rock solid onto the subframe, I don't think it will cause a problem.

What I would like to know is if there is some specific part I need as a bushing for that bolt, or if I should just toss out the metal bushing and bolt it right onto the subframe.
