U can tell it's summer: Help with '98 320 AC Low Pressure port location

Hi all.

I buddy here at work asked me to help top off the AC in his 1998 320. I took a real quick look and was curious if the port shown in the attached pic is the low pressure/service port. Sure would be convenient.

Any help with the location is appreciated.

the lo press or suction port is the small one, usually has a blue cap on it.

Len, the port I pointed out or a port with a blue cap?

Thanks!

That looks like it. The high-side service port is probably at the condenser; you get to that by removing the outer fan guard and a small cover plate at the top left of the auxiliary fan shroud.

My '96 has black caps on both service ports.
