Pics of my '87 300E.....

In case anyone is interested I finally got some pics of my '87 300E. I was looking for a nice one and I found it........it's in very good condition.

It came with Euro headlights and I finished the Euro look with steel wheels and hubcaps......I've always liked the "taxi-cab" look.

Looks great! If you don't mind me saying so, the only thing you need are the 94'-95' taillight lenses. The OSHA orange is OK, but the "smoked" lenses will go great with the factory paint.

Yeah, I agree. You already have euro headlights with '94-'95 clear / yellow corners, so the '94-'95 taillights (smoked / red) would look great.

Nope, you can add one *more* person who thinks they are cool. You simply can't find those at ANY price in the USA. That is an absolute euro look. I'd always thought they were plastic wheel covers, all this time!! If they are not, my admiration of them went even higher yet! Park carefully, don't get curb rash on them...With the "taxi look" you are going to achieve taxi mileage, too, on the car.

I believe they were standard kit on the W126ers also....even the basic SEC coupes also, such as the 420SEC. I have seen pictures of them like that
