Thanks. What is the easiest way to adjust the tension on a 602 engine. I changed my serpentine belt last week and I must say that it was a PITA to get it back on. There is some squeaking going on, but it stops when I apply soap to the belt. I beleive that I just need to tighten the belt a little more. I was under the impression that the tensioner was self adjusting..if this is the case why would I have to tighten the belt manually? Unfortunately I didn't check this forum before I started the process.
