Put MB Powersteering Fluid in Hydraulic Reservoir on W210 Wagon

Doh - I put MB Powersteering Fluid in the Hydraulic Fluid Reservoir (in front of washer fluid reservoirs). I have a 2002 E320 wagon. I knew the reservoir was for both self levelers and steering, but didn't realize it uses a different fluid than MB Power Steering. Anyway, I figured out what I did before starting the car and siphoned all the fluid out of the tank, so nothing got sucked into the system. Right now it is empty and I plan on buying MB Hydraulic Fluid this weekend and re-fill it. Should I be worried about anything else? I'm hoping the oils are somewhat similar.

On a side note, since I'm flushing the reservoir for the most part, should I go ahead and replace the filter as well?

Thanks!

You are not alone with what you did. Thought I was doing a big stroke of business when I kept topping the fluid res. from my fabi containers . . . I didn't have a clue they were different fluids. Still not certain what the differences are and have always hoped someone would address it. Also would be nice to get a technical opinion on will either the fabi ps fluid hurt the hydraulic system and will the fabi hydraulic harm the ps system.
