'88 300 SEL Timing-do I have EZL or do I need to set timing?

I have a '88 300 SEL that I just changed the cap, rotor, and plugs. Used the non-resistor copper plugs. Gapped to .032. All of these elements were pretty corroded and I figured I would have a little bit smoother start/ride after the change. Instead, she is starting with a little more difficulty than before. Takes two turns of the key to start every time. Do I need to reset or at least check the timing or does my car have the EZL ignition that is supposed to self-time? Thanks.

thanks. I guess I'll have to check the vacuum lines. Maybe I knocked something off or I have a small leak.

At nearing 20 years, I'd go through the entire vac system..
