Hi Jorn. After posting my reply and pics I noticed you had the same idea installing your bracket on the inside of the console. Wow.They say great minds think alike. Did you you have to modify your bracket? Man, I really miss my old W126. An '87 420SEL. Great car for me except for 1 thing: didn't have a cup holder. Gotta have my morning java on the way to work.

cup holder

This is a good cup holder just fits inside the cubby box on the W124 and others. This came from a 2005 c class

Ha! It's an exact fit, glued it but just wedging it in was already sufficient. It was the most elegant solution I could come up with.

cup holder

These fit very nice in the W124 cubby box . Saw one on another forum removed from a 2005 C class Easy fit and push button operation .Also the cubby box lid will close after its used . SORRY Wont up load a picture again its a waste of time posting if the pictures dont up load.
