M104 Intermittent Cruise Control.

I've been searching the forum and found lots of excellent information on the subject, but still not 'there' to solve the problem.

Car in question is European E320 Wagon 1995.

The hesitation problem i've been having around 2000rpm range improved a lot after changing the plug boots from the three coils. Engine feels much more responsive now, but I still get occational mis-fires on idle. In fact, I'm not really sure if this is still a problem, as I have no other cars to compare with.

However, the CC is still acting up consistently above 80km/h - it keeps the set speed, but the accelerator is on-off-on---off-ooooooon-off-onoffoonoff. Rather uncomfortable. I've replaced the stop lamp switch after pulling codes 5 and 11 from the CC module (pin 14). Cleared the memory, but code 11 keeps coming back. (Code 5 is gone)
Code 11 meaning "Fuel safety shut-off to LH-SFI module", I don't really know what to test or look for. (Car has no LH-SFI, but HFM) To me, it suggests that the CC module sends a 'go-into-"limp-home"-signal' to the ECU now and then, but that leave me clueless.

Anyone?
