m103 hyrdaulic lifter replacement DIY??
Hey everyone,
My 93' 190 2.6 M103 is having lifter troubles. I switched to 15w40 to see if it would help and it did not. I took it to my mechanic who wanted $400 for the entire job (parts+labor) and said it would take about three hours. I would like to know if replacing the 12 lifters on the m103 is a job that I can handle myself. How difficult is it? What parts are needed? From the shop the lifters are $17/each. I would much rather do this myself than pay out $400+tax. Could some one maybe write up, link or post me a diy on how to do it? I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks, Kris

I think the M103 is good to 20W50.
