M104 Cruise Control misbehaving
All,
Having followed Arthurs advice in a previous thread, I cleaned up the area of the engine thoroughly, re-regreased the components of the throttle linkage, checked throttle cable play, did the measurements and adjusted everything according to article in WIS. --> CC still jerky. Cleared code 11 from CC/IC, and will see if it's reappearing.. Will post status today. Tires are evenly worn (fairly new ones 225/45/17), and tire pressure is OK. BTW, the speedometer needle is shaking now and then. I had ruled that source out, as the CC is working consistently well in speed range 40-80km/h, and is consistently jerking above 80km/h, regardless of speedo shake or not. Ignition wiring and looks good to me. Changed plugs couple of months ago. Don't know the status of last fuel filter change or Oxygen sensor, but there are no DTC's to be read indicating problems with those components.
