It seems as if back lash is a normal feature of the Merc manual tranny.
What are we paying the high premiums for then? This is my first experience with a Mercedes. I've driven BMWs and many, many Japanese cars. None of them had to be pampered when driven. My girlfriend has a new VW TDi which mean that I have a VW TDi. :-) This car, although not of the same pedigree (and price) as the Merc does not shake, rattle and roll. Why can't Mercedes get it right with their manual gearbox? |
