How do you unlatch the lower cover???????
I am told that on the 96 S320 you unlatch the lower covering attached to the dash. For the life of me I cannot figure out how this is suppose to be done. Please Help.

I have figured it out. FYI For the 96 S classes. The driver's side lower cover has two latches. To unlatch take a flat head screw driver and find the top of the latch and push down. This release the latching mechanism. And there are two right and left. Hope this helps for future 140 evap removals.
