Hello I am new here, 92 300E 3.0
Hello my cousin Just bought a 1992 mercedes 300E and it has miner body damage a brand new trans. We need a nice looking body kit and something for performance like two turbo's or something We are new to mercedes as this is the first one in the family so I may ask some "stupid" questions about this mercedes just cuz we dont know
 . I will try and post some pics as soon as possible............................................................................. The car's I have are a 1974 Mk1 capri 2.0 4 speed and a 78 jeep cherokee chief sport 401 WT both mine , AND for my cuz a 89 LTD Crown Victoria police car and the 92 mercedes 300E . Thank you and any help is appreciated

hmm nice but we allready have the mercedes But...
could we get the turbo kit for a I6 3.0 non-turbo?

disturbing warm start problem
We knew that there is some small problems with the car when we bought the car, But about 2 hour's ago we pulled over to the side of the road to let trafic go by and we shut off the engine and sat there for two minutes and went to start her up and it took 4 try's to start?

parts
 Ok found out that it would not start cuz of low oil once we put the right oil in it the problem stopped,BUT now we know it's got a oil leak so my question is where in the clackamas/portland oregon area can we get good benzo parts?.

I go thru MBI Motors on Hawthorne... I haven't had to get any parts yet... but they have service my cars since I have have had them.
I had a 300SD and now my 300CE. I used to take my 240D there also when I was in High School. They are MUCH more reasonable than Rasmussen's.

Ok I think think that the problems that we have are an oil leak, and perhaps a bad alternater we took the 1000 cold cranking amp battery out of the police car and we put that in the benzo. the oil fill cap is broken and we cant get it open with out breaking the inner cap so I need to know if a cap from another manufacture would fit on there? since we do not want the same problem again. After we get these problems worked out then we are thinking about adding in a vortec supercharger and an HKS exhuast
 . we have not looked under the air filter box to see how we would make a inlet pipe from a intercooler to the throttle body. could someone put up a pic of what the 1992 300E without the air box so I could try and work that out? the car is being used all the time so I dont have much time to fiddle with it.
