126 Bumper fix

The rear bumper on my 85 380SE is pushed in on the right side - hit while it was parked. No damage, but the bumper is now pushed in a few inches on that side. Is there any easy way to get the bumper back to it's proper position without major work?

It is not hard to remove the rear bumper. There are 6 bolts from inside the trunk. Remove the trunk lining and you should be able to access them. One on the driver's side is under some hard foam. One on the passenger side is behind the vacuum pump for the door lock system. Once the six bolts are out you simply need only pull the read bumper straight back. You can then bang out whatever is bent in (a picture would help).
