1987 mercades idle speed

i just changed a motor i bought use and when started there is full idle speed.. how do i check or ajusted this???

You check it with a tachometer and repair it if its wrong as it is a computer controlled system. If its wrong it's broke!

It's runnin, aint it ?

Air leak.
o2 sensor problem.
Frequency not set.
Bad ground/s.
Bad idle valve.
Bad idle switch.
Throttle plate stuck/bent.

There.....that should keep you busy for a bit.
