Can things get any worse, Broken w123 hood release cable

So I read through these other threads and they seem to be different for my car (w210; E class).

Has anyone replaced the hood latch cable for w210?

It looks like my cable snapped on the passenger side and that latch will not catch, so there is slight movement on that side of the hood as I drive.
