190e 93 with 6.Changed out starter pull a hose off that ran beside the starter.It starts from elbo on the back upper end of inlet manifold under the airbox.It is about 1' long white plastic hose.It goes from there past the starter I can't tell if it goes to trans or in the firewall.Does anyone have a vacuum diagram 1993 or any suggestion's

Find your car on this site;http://www.detali.ru/cat/oem_mb0.asp?TP=1 ;if youyou look under the autogearbox section you will see the vacuum diagram for your car.
The hose you describe is connected to the right front of the gearbox,hard to see where it goes but if you feel for it you will find the rubber tube it connects to,just judge the position by the length of the tube, best done with the car on a lift. Geo. |

That goes to the vacuum modulator on the drivers side of the transmission. Hard to get your hand up in there but it is possible.
