Unhappy 1988 190e 2.3 flywheel problums

i have an 88 190e 2.3 . i used an 87 190e 2.3 5 speed as a donner car . the clutch and preasure plate were worn badly so i just took the flywheel and resurfaced it and instaled it on my car . i went to order a clutch kit with a preasure plate and turns out the preasure plate it too small to bolt to my flywheel . i took it back and they said that clutch and presure plate i had fits on both an 87 and 88 as well as most years prior to 89' . so no i have no idea what to do . the area on the flywheel where the preasure plate bolts to is 10 inches across and the clutch surface on the flywheel is about 9 inches across . there is a total of 6 bolt holes on the flywheel for the preasure plate . so i dont know if there is larger diameter clutches for the 190's or if the flywheel was swaped on the donner car from somthing els . any help or advise would be great .
