1994 W140 coupe,speedometer problem

I am just looking at a s500 coupe, for sale locally, kinda cheap, with some weird problems.Car was without a battery(they told me) for a couple of days, since they installed the new one,no speedometer/odometer(electronic),just shows the old reading,no radio, not even the security light,no steering adjust(up/down/back/forward),windows will not close properly, all the way...I was trying to see if it might be a fairly easy fix,so,I can get the car inexpensive and synchronize windows and replace fuses/relays...any detailed help will be appreciated.

Does the ABS light stay on with the engine running?

If so then possibly a fuse in the "base module" is blown. That module supplies power to the traction system computer.

To quote a semi-famous line from The Fly, ". . be afraid, be very afraid".

With all the things you mention, I'd bet the 'wiring harness' is in worse condition??? But everything has its price, so if you can steal it and you're good at fixing, then it might be worth it?
