m104 engine, m103 transmission

In my eternal search for an upgrade, I came across a 24k mile m104... I would like to bolt the old m103 five speed to it and put it in my car instead of rebuilding the head.

Will they bolt together. Also the engine does not come with computers, but is other wise complete. What would you pay?

Kyle

The 104 engine came in two very different configerations.

1. 3 litre with old style electronically controlled MECHANICAL injection, and rotating distributor ignition. There was a seperate computer (ECU) for each function.

2. 3.2 litre with full electronic injection combined with full electronic ignition with no moving parts ALL controlled by one main computer (ECU).

Which are you buying ?????????
