Mercedes E290 1999

The N.S.F. electric window and mirror fail intermittantly. By removing and re-fitting fuse number 1 this appears to re-set the equipment and they work for about another week before failing again. A new N.S. door module was fitted but they failed again and the O.S.F. window and mirror and seat controls also failed. A new multi functional relay was tested but the fault remained. I can re-set the instruments by removing and re-fitting no. 1 or 3 fuses but cannot solve the problem. The fault usually happens after I have been in reverse but not always. Any ideas?
