Question 420sel,1991

I seem to have a lot of play in my accelerator pedal. When pushing the pedal there seems to be about 1"-2" of dead zone. I guessing there is some adjustment that can be made to the linkage or cable to take out the "slop"? Nubie. First Hunmobile.

Check the linkage in the engine bay, particularly the socket on the firewall that holds one end of the main throttle rod.

It was the long longitudinal rod with a threaded ball socket on each end. Adjusted. Sweet.
