water in transmission

I replaced the original radiator on the car due to the famous neck crack. After a cople of weeks my tranmission was shifting hard so I check the dip stick. To my surprise the transmission oil was pink. I thought that I was geeting some coolant in the oil due to a defective new radiator. I talked with the dealership where I bought the parts and they obliged to offer a test free. A paper test to check for coolant in the transmission fluid. The test came negative. After this I flushed the transmission oil and put in fresh. Last weekend checked the oil and it was pink. Ishowed this to the dealer and he was stumped. They did a check again for coolant and it came negative and confirm now that it is water.

Question is from where can water be getting in the tranmission. Car is 300sel.
