The single wiper on a 124 and other models looks "interesting" but sometimes doesn't perform up to expectations. We know we should periodically clean the shaft and motor from old grease.

But with advancing technology new wiper arms are available. For example TireRack's new catalog shows a few alternatives.

The "Valo" Ultimate Wiper is an interesting one piece design. Has anybody tried it or others that perform better than the original?
