Mobil 1 on sale!

For those of you that use synthetic, Wally World (Walmart) has Mobil 1 in 5 quart jugs on sale for $17.88. That's about a $1 a quart less than regular prices. I bought 4 jugs, and I think I'll pick up a few more. I've been waiting for months for these to come on sale again, it seems like they have them about twice a year.

Walmarts normal price here has been 3.94 per quart and a
6 pack for 23.68 (no diff still 3.94/qt) . However a savings is still a savings no matter how small. I'll have to get some tonight. Thanks for the info.

Walmart also has 5qt Castrol Syntech for $14 - for those that don't think there is much of a difference between Castrol and Mobil.

Mobil 1 here has been 4.44 a quart for a few months.

I just bought 5-5qt. jugs of Castrol fully synthetic for $16/5qts at my local Wal-Mart! Good shoping tip though, thanks for the heads-up. Not sure what the difference is between Mobile and Catrol, and I've read every oil thread and every link contained therein.

I do know my 14 year old 260E runs smoother with fully synthetic, and does not leak oil!

I'm due for my first oil change since owning my 94 E420, as dealer did it for me when he sold car.

Can you tell me what weight of Mobil 1 you recommend for the Midwest during this time of year? How about other times?

I use the 15w 50. But I'm in Texas. That SHOULD be fine for this summer in the midwest.

I just received a bulletin from mercedes benz recommending the use of full synthetic oil in all their cars from 2001 models. They recommned Mobil 1.

FYI
