One of my headlight low beam bulbs is blown, can I replace both with the Xenon low beam bulb ? Do I have to also replace the high beams ? Does the regular headlight assembly working with a Xenon bulb ? Thank you |

No, it's not as simple as a different bulb when you have "real" Xenon bulbs. There is a control unit required to get the bulbs to "ignite" and then maintain a specific amperage to keep them lit. On a MB, the factory Xenon's also have headlamp range adjustment to keep the beam pointed properly down the road, say when hitting bumps or dips in the road. I have seen aftermarket kits which have just the control units and bulbs, i don't know where you can buy them, or how much.......Gilly
