Radiator and Hose problem

Hello all ,
I need some help please ?
The plastic piece that connects my radiator hose to the Radiator is broke , there not enough of plastic on the radiator for the hose to stay on , it broke of , the radiator if fine , no problem with that ,
what can I do , I hope I don't need to get a new radiator just for this , is there an adaptor or anything else I can do for this problem ???

this is unfortunately a common problem. the replacement rads have a steel sleeve there to strengthen it.

some have glued it but if i did that i wouldnt take any trips out of town and would order a new rad immediately to replace it.

Radiator

How much for a new radiator and is it easy to replace myself ??
Its a 1991 300sl

you should be able to get a radiator for 175-200.

I think the behr's now all have the metal sleeve.

I have a brand spankin new 560SL Behr radiator, with no reinforcement (yet... )
