Bumper for 126

An '88 300SE that I'm thinking of buying needs a new bumper real bad.Are all front bumpers on the 126 body interchangeable? Can I take one from 420SEL and put it on the 300SE?? Thanks for any advice!!

I believe they’re all interchangeable but certainly the second gen bumpers will swap out.
