easiest way to check all hoses for leaks? any treatments to prolong their life? M119

I want to make sure all the air/vacuum/breather hoses on my M119 engine are intact. is the easiest way to get a can of carb cleaner and spray all along the hoses while the car is running?

also, are there any products to prolong the life of the hoses? thanks

Talking Hoses ?

Suction hoses tested with a "Mighty Vac" or equivalent.(do a "Search"...model
specific)
Fuel lines ---visual inspection.
Engine coolant system/cabin heat/oil cooler... pressure test with anti-freeze
pressure tester.

Depending on the chemical composition of the individual hoses (nitrile , Etc.)
[Good luck on getting that information without a LOT of research]. There
may or may not be any life expectancy extender.

Whatever you decide to use on the rubber, do NOT use anything with silicone it it. That could get into the wrong places and contaminate (ruin $$$) your O2 sensors.
