How to replace.......

The car: 1989 260E W124:
I need to replace a noisy belt tentionner shock absorber.
How can I get to the bottom bolt?
What need to be removed.

if your talking about the bolt that hold the tensioner from the bottom you will need (deep socket 19mm) and braker bar.

I'm not talking about the tentioner.
What I need to replace is only the small shock absorber.
The bottom bolts seems to be a real pain in the but to reach. Any tricks?

sorry i did not see the word shock , i used regular open wrench i think 8 or 10 mm it is very tight but it can be done.
