The part number for Sunroof Track Lube is 001-989-46-51. The MB dealers charge around $77 for a tub of it; however, you can order a 35mm film canister of it from Performance Analysis Company at 865-482-9175 for about $5.

I've had a can of this for some years. Note that there's a different part number.

I don't know how large this one is. I've also got the 500g tub...total overkill but that's all they were selling at the time. I've done many cars with it, barely used any up.

I've had this tub for quite some time. I have no recollection how much it was. The product has the most unique consistency of any "grease" I've seen. It's almost like a jelly, and it's very clean to work with.

I'll consider selling small quantities if we can figure out a suitable method for shipping. I guess I could use ziploc bags and send it in a standard $0.39 envelope, right?

i bought a very small tin... i would say no more than an ounce or so from someone... paid someithing like 8 dollars..

i have done sunroofs on three 124's and still have plenty.

maybe i would have other uses for it if i had a larger tin..

The proper part number for the sun roof lube is as Ferdman says 001 989 46 51 and retails at MB for $92.00 per can. It can be bought from many places in smaller quantities starting at $10.00 or less.

Where & how do you lubricate the sunroof? 94 E320 specifically, if that matters. Appreciate advice...
