Interior Wood Care Question

I know this should be in detailing but I thought I would post this in this forum also.

What do you all recommend for taking care of the wood in the interior? I would like to make sure (ideally) that UV is reduced while protecting it. Ideally maybe a little polishing, but secondary to the above.
