Replacing Radiator
I just purchased a new Radiator for my 91 300sl , I want to try and put it in myself , is it an easy fix ?? any idea's ?? or is it something hard to do ??
Thank You for your replys |
The hard part is finding suitable containers for the fluids that will drain out. Since you're down there, and are going to have to disconnect the trans cooler lines anyway, you might want to consider replacing them. ($21 & $31 ea.), although you don't have to.

It's a relatively easy job but it is nice to have something to walk you through it - e.g. the MB service CD, AllDataDIY, etc. It's probably a two or three hour job.

Although this is for a W124 chassis, it should be a nearly identical procedure. http://www.peachparts.com/Wikka/W124Radiator
