I wouldn't recommend it...you can try disassembling the unit but I wouldn't recommend it. Mostly seals and what not get worn and the unit will no longer function correctly.
Re-man's aren't bad..last one I did was around 450 or so... Jonathan

Well, they were never designed to have pressure come back through so I would say proceed @ your own peril.
Running the car like this will be Very hard on the two lean cylinders, and also hard on the other 6 as your 02 will always be seeing a lean condition and continue to try and add fuel in order to compensate...this will result in an overly rich condition in the remaining cylinders. This will also be hard on your oil as when the car is running rich it will deposit more contaminants etc.. Worst case buy a used one from a reputable breaker..Potomac, silver star etc, etc.. Jonathan

many have tried to salvage/repair the fuel distributor (I wonder how? cause calibrating is not even easy nor easily available).
Best option you have is to get a brand new one OEM Bosch or a remanufactured one with warranty if you intend to use your car for many more years. By the way the brand new one for the fuel distributor is fast running out of stock. R. Bosch has discontinued their production since 2004. |

Bosch is nice but they are Brutally expensive when compared to the CIS Flowtech units.. Also, the Bosch bits come w/ an EHA and I'd be surprised if he needed one @ the moment.

Yes, it is..and CIS takes that Bosch and replaces the seals/baffles etc that wear out they test/calibrate as necessary.
If you don't mind my asking, what are you asking for your units? Jonathan

Honestly, no...I've chatted w/ him and he has asked me not to put his info out for public consumption (doesn't have the time to deal directly w/ the public).
However, if you have any specific questions I'd be glad to relay etc.. Jonathan
