Hello,
After cleaning my air flow meter on my 190e 2.6 the car now hunts at idle with the revs bouncing up and down before finally cutting out. To allow the car to idle i have to unplug the auxiliary air device/idle control valve. I initially thought it was the thrust cut off switch but after replacing that the car now seems worse
I did notice today that the AFM plate seems to be catching at the top.

Could this cause the problem im having?? I'm thinking that maybe i dislodged it somehow when cleaning the AFM out
Any help would be great.
Thanks,
Stu
