Question Where is the Voltage Regulator located on a 1994 C 280?

Does anyone know where is VOLTAGE REGULATOR located on a 1994 C 280?
And how can you tell if your VOLTAGE REGULATOR is going bad? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE...

Recent Bosch alternators have a combination voltage regulator brush set screwed on the back of the alternator. Two screws and it's off. Check the brush length, they are spring loaded. It's available from the part sales section of this web site, http://catalog.peachparts.com/

Voltage regulator is on back of alternator on EVERY car with a Bosch alternator.
