cd rom install

I have just received my CD Roms from MB and can't seem to make them work. Everything goes well until I select a task and I then I get the "Windows Internet error message"the send or don't send window. My Internet is working fine and I have a fairly new computer meeting the CD requirements. I installed the Adobe 5. I get the Gullwing pic and am able to select my model, area of the car I want to look at and then the error message. Now,on the other hand, does this mean I need Internet to use the disks? I was hoping to copy the disks to my hard drive so I can bring my lap top to my garage and not have to switch between disks. Or, do I have to print a page every time? Unfortunately, the service manuals are out of print.
