Unhappy 1991 300E fuse for ac/heater blower?

This should be an easy one for someone. My heater fan quit today (kinda cold in CT) and I checked the under hood fuse box which indicated the fuse in question was located "Outside the Fuse Box". OKaaaa, next I checked the Owners manual, no luck there. The manual did not acknowledge the existance of this fuse.

I got creative after this and downloaded a 275 page PDF file of wiring info for this model. Unfortunately the info I need was listed as being on page 301!!!

All I really want to know is where the fuse is located. Thanx

Like arthur stated it should be over the left front strut. It should have a little black plastic cover approx 2.5-3" long and have a wire coming out of each end,
