My 94 E320 (M104 engine) with 138,000 miles started making a whistling sound a few days ago. Seems to come from a belt driven apparatus at the front of the engine on the passenger side - air pump? Any ideas?

In my grandmothers Roadmaster, it gave a fairly noticeable whoose noise when the output hose fell of the air pump.
