94 E320 fog light question

My w124 has a sealed beam and it has the headlight and the fog completely sealed, there is access from the back. I dropped by advanced auto parts and cross referenced a sylvania replacement bulb for the fogs. It looks like the factory ones are 55w but the replacements are H3 100w.
My question is will this wattage increase burn out my wiring or should I be OK? I bought two bulbs figuring I will swap out both but before I make a mess of the wiring I figure I would ask for input...any feedback for me?
Should I just go to Mercedes and look for the OEM fog bulb?
thank you

The Owner's Manual specifies H3 (55W) replacement lamps for the fog lights. By all means acquire the proper wattage lamp or you're likely to have problems. Try other parts stores that carry Sylvania/Osram Sylvania replacement lamps. You can price a replacement lamp at your local MB dealer, but it's likely to be significantly more expensive than at an automotive parts store.

Any light using an H3 bulb is by defintion not "sealed."

Sealed means you throw away the lens and reflector when the filament burns out.

FWIW the Mercedes part # for an H3 bulb is 072601 012290
