Traction Control Light 91 420sel
I have recently had the traction control light come on in my 91 420sel. It does not stay on, and flickers mostly. It seems that I still have traction control because we recently had a day when all the roads were coverd in black ice, when taking off from a stop sign the right wheel started to slip, and then the left took over until it started to slip and the right one grabbed just like it has always worked before the light came on. Anyone have any idea where I should start looking?
Thank you Tom Atascadero Ca |

Answer:
Look for a differential speed sensor or wire.
![]() The connection is under your rear seat base. You may be able to remove the sensor from the differential, clean it, re install, and have this issue go away. Have a great day.
