87 420sel cold stumble

87 420sel cranks and runs well for about a minute when cold. then devlopes a lean stumble till temp rises to around a 80. have repaired numerous vacume leaks, replaced ovprelay, and double pole temp sensor, and problem still persists. would appreciate any specific input related to this problem. thanks bob lane

I know this was a while ago, ever find the prob. I am about to replace my 4 pole CIS temp. sensor.

Bob, this can be along search,trying to find your rough idle problem when cold, But it may be as simple as the EHA not being set to the proper value,from this you can check out the on off ratio at x11 pin 3, and you might look at the potentiometer settings as well,you can find quite a few post on all those subjects, good luck,JNT.

first check the ignition system, then the fuel system thats the only 2 department that will give you the symptoms you mentioned.
