Has anyone done a conversion of this type ? I am considering this conversion and would like some help if possible. I have access to a M103 motor with the box attached, bit it has no computer. Does this motor need the original computer or can a aftermarket item do? Say haltec EMS or similar?
The engine is from a w124 these motors were also used in the w126 I am led to believe so the engine mounts for this conversion should be ok since the w123 and w126 have similar fitments in the six cyl series. my car is a w123 1982 model 280te. any body done this type of work before it would be greatly appreciated. or if you have links to people that have done conversions with other motors for w123's be fore. looking forward to responses soon. regards BB
