Plastic Oil Tube Replacement
I was wondering, on a 560 SEL, do I have the plastic tubes? Are they hard to replace, and are they a regular maintenence item?
Thanks, Dave.

ONLY the M119 engines after 1992 have plastic tubes.
However both the M116/117 engines have plastic guides for a metal tube that oils the cam & rockers.. any time the valve cover is off the guides should be checked for "looseness"

Okay, I'll check it out next time I'm under the valve covers. How do you check for looseness? Just try to move the tube ?
Thanks, and God Bless, Dave.
