My master key will not fit into the lock on my 1988 420SEL to disable the alarm! Anyone ever experienced this problem? It just baffles me! I have disabled the alarm by inserting the MS key in the trunk lock to disable alarm. Today it just will not work! Any help is appreciated. Thanks - blajj.

The key is probably worn.

Since you are in Maryland, head over to Euro Motorcars in Bethesda or Germantown (or whatever dealer is closest to you) and order a new key. You will have it before the weekend. Costs about $20.00.
