Hi!

I have an '87 560SEL. The rear window and power seat switches are intermittent. At times the driver's side rear window works fine from the door and center console. At others not from either location. I have new switches which I tried, but they have the same issue. When switch is inop lights do not dim when depressed hence I belive its a short.

I read somewhere that the wiring in the door can be suspect. Can someone please give me a clue as to where to look for this?
