code 85 on the display

The vehicle is a 1998 420 and we have a code 85 with a wrench displayed on the diaplay panal, HELP, what does this mean,thank you for any help...

I don't believe there is such a thing as a code 85.
The display is telling you you're either 85 miles past scheduled maintenance service, or you have 85 miles left to go, before service is required.
