Question 87 300E A/C fan not working???

I have an 87 300E, the fan will try to start and will blow for 1-2 seconds then shut off. I have checked the fuse panel, all fuses look good but I changed the blower fuse anyway. It's getting hot here in Virginia. Any suggestions on where to start looking for the problem?? Thanks, Steve

There is a strip fuse in a small black plastic box just in front of the main fuse box. Notorious for developing a hairline crack. Could look good, but be bad. Available at dealer cheap. You could bridge the fuse with a wire as a test only.

Check for corrosion where the 3-pin fan plug attaches at the firewall.
