Performance Products--s600grill
Hi,
Has anyone purchased an S600 grill for their 94-95 w124 from Performance Products? They list theirs for 249$ and say its from Germany. Everywhere else that I have looked is selling their grills for 149$. I would like to know if their quality is really worth the extra 100$ or if their grill is the same as everyone elses, but just more expensive. Any replies are appreciated. warm regards aeb

I bought one each for my S 500 L and my E 320 T from Performance Products.
The one installed on the S124 has stayed like new for over three years. The one installed on the V140 started to rust just after three months. Returned it and was shipped a new one inmediantly. The second one installed, after two years, started to fade. It is not that bad, but it looks it may need replacement in less than a year.

ill probably get the cheaper one since they both tend to rust as quickly

Rust?!!!
 I would have thought these were plastic or aluminum! Sounds like a worthless mod if you have to put up with rust!
